Here is a quick start sequence for setting up a beacon for the MegaPK-II and MegaPK-II game keyers:

1) record your message into memory 1 (the mem switch memory, use menu
item M? to record the message:
 a) press and hold (PAH) the  mem switch until you hear:  BE
 b) press and release (PAR) mem, you should hear M?
 c) record your beacon message
 d) PAR  mem to exit recording

2) to start the beacon:
 a) PAH the  mem switch until you hear:  BE
 b) PAR the dit to start the beacon going
 c) PAR dit or dah to stop the beacon

3) to increase the delay from the short default, use the BD menu item
 a) enter command entry mode using the mem+both PAH
 b) query the current delay by sending a BD  the keyer will then send
    the current beacon delay
 c) to change the current delay to 5 seconds, send BD05
 d) exit command entry mode
 e) use item 2 above to try the beacon

4) you can also try the BA (Beacon Alternate) and the K (Key down
beacon delay) commands  to change the beacon setup
